Chip Lake Historical Society
The Chip Lake Historical Society is a charitable society started in the early 1980's with the express purpose of writing a community history. In 1987 the efforts of the society members came to fruition with the publishing of Where the River Lobstick Flows, a Wildwood and district history covering the area from MacKay to Styal along highway 16.
In 2005 the society had a second volume published. Vol. II is a partner to Vol. I and is a collection of continued history up to and including 2005. Both books are for loan at the Wildwood Public Library.
Books may be purchased for $65.00 for Volume I and $50.00 for Volume II from A Special Touch and Wildwood Public Library in Wildwood, Vi-Mar Books in Evansburg and from any historical society member. Shipping is extra. GST is included.
